This modern residential project exemplifies a refined blend of material honesty and urban sophistication. Characterised by its exposed brick facade, the design embraces a warm, earthy palette while integrating contemporary architectural elements. Clean horizontal lines, open balconies, and the interplay of solid and void create a dynamic composition across the elevation. The use of concrete bands and black metal railings accentuates the structure's linearity, while perforated brickwork adds texture and ventilation. Large floor-to-ceiling glass panels invite natural light into the interiors and blur the boundary between indoors and outdoors.
Green planters line the edges of terraces and the ground level, softening the robust materiality with lush greenery. This residence thoughtfully merges raw materials with contemporary detailing, offering a grounded living experience in a tropical urban setting.
Architectural Expression
This residence showcases a bold yet grounded design language that celebrates the raw beauty of materials while embracing contemporary urban living. The exposed brick façade introduces warmth and tactility, complemented by sleek concrete bands and slender black metal railings that highlight the home’s strong linearity. Perforated brick details not only enrich the texture but also allow airflow, adding both character and function. Balanced proportions of solid and void create a rhythmic composition that feels both dynamic and timeless.
Living Experience & Landscape
Expansive floor-to-ceiling glass frames flood the interiors with daylight, dissolving boundaries between inside and outside. Open balconies and terraces are softened with planters, while greenery at the ground level tempers the structure’s solidity with a refreshing natural layer.
This dialogue between raw materiality and lush landscape creates a calm yet sophisticated retreat, where modern design is rooted in honesty, simplicity, and connection to the tropical climate.
