Sudhir Saumya Design Associates (SSDA) is a dynamic architecture and interior design studio that has rapidly emerged as a distinctive voice in luxury residential design since its establishment in 2021. Based in Ghitorni, New Delhi, this multidisciplinary firm specialises in creating large-scale farmhouses and luxury residences ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 square feet, primarily serving the Delhi NCR region.
Conceptualised in 2012, but founded in 2021 by Ar. Sudhir Ambawata and Ar. Saumya Khanna, SSDA represents a unique partnership that combines youthful creative energy with experienced technical expertise. SSDA creates spaces that invite nature in and respond intuitively to light, wind, and context. Their work reflects a quiet sensitivity, one
that values openness and emotional resonance. Each project is shaped by its surroundings, thoughtfully considering climate, culture, and the everyday rhythms of life.

CO FOUNDER
Saumya Khanna,
Co-Founder and Principal Architect of SSDA, believes that great architecture is not just seen—it’s felt. Educated at the Sushant School of Art, she combines global learning with deep cultural understanding. Her work reflects a commitment to creating homes that are emotionally meaningful, environmentally responsive, and timeless. She leads SSDA with a collaborative spirit, designing residences across Delhi NCR that are both intimate and inspiring.
Sudhir Ambawata
Ar. Sudhir Ambawata completed his Bachelor of Architecture from New Delhi. In 2017 he pursued Master Degree Course March in Advanced Architectural Design from School of architecture, Oxford Brookes University,(Oxford, United Kingdom), one of the largest and world ranked university for Architecture.
